Scheduling & Payment Options for Students Who are Adults

I offer 45-minute lessons for adult students.

Option 1: Weekly Lesson Rate for Consistent Day and Time (3, 4, or 5 lesson a month)

Students who prefer may take weekly lessons on a consistent day and time during the week. Please contact me for current rates.

Full payment is expected at the beginning of each month for the number of lessons anticipated to be taken that month (minimum of three lessons paid for per month). Refunds or prorations are not given for lessons the student cannot attend in person.  If possible, we will simply hold the lesson online through videoconferencing during the regular less time.  If that does not work, I will try to reschedule within the week of the cancelled lesson in person or via videoconferencing.  (I cannot guarantee that I can reschedule a lesson.)

Option 2:  Lesson Scheduling for Consistent Day and Time (2 Lessons a Month)

Students who prefer may take lessons twice a month on consistent weeks, days and times.  Please contact me for current rates, which are slightly higher than Option 1.

Full payment for both lessons is due at the beginning of each month.  Refunds or prorations are not given for lessons the student cannot attend in person.  If possible, we will simply hold the lesson online through videoconferencing during the regular less time.  If that does not work, I will try to reschedule within the week of the cancelled lesson in person or via videoconferencing.  (I cannot guarantee that I can reschedule a lesson.)

Option 3: Lesson Scheduling and Fees for “Floaters”

Some adult students can only take lessons on a sporadic basis or may often need to changes weeks, days and/or times of lessons.  They “float” in and out of lessons when their schedules and my schedule permit.

Floaters simply call me or e-mail me when they think they will have time for a lesson or may often need to change weeks, days and/or times of lessons.  They “float” in and out of lessons when their schedules and my schedule permit.

Floaters simply contact me when they think they will have time for a lesson, and I will see if that time is available in my schedule. Floaters pay the highest fee for these lessons and only pay at the beginning of that lesson only for that lesson.  Please contact me for current rates.

Other matters: Holidays and Payment Options

Holidays: I do not teach on Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and December 24 through January 1.

Payment: I accept exact cash and checks payable to Susan Lipnick.  If a check bounces because of insufficient funds, closed account, etc., please pay that amount plus all fees I incurred for in cash until your checking account has sufficient funds.
