Scheduling & Payment Options for Students Who are Adults

I offer 45-minute lessons for adult students.

Option 1:  Lesson Scheduling for Consistent Day and Time (2-4 Lessons a Month)

Lessons are taken as much as possible on consistent weeks, days and times.  The fee is $40 per lesson, and full payment for all scheduled lessons is due at the beginning of each month.  Refunds or prorations are not given for lessons the student cannot attend in person.  If possible, we will simply hold the lesson online through videoconferencing during the regular less time.  If that does not work, I will try to reschedule within the week of the cancelled lesson in person or via videoconferencing.  (I cannot guarantee that I can reschedule a lesson.)

Option 2: Lesson Scheduling and Fees for “Floaters”

Some students can only take lessons on a sporadic basis or may often need to change weeks, days and/or times of lessons.  They “float” in and out of lessons when their schedules and my schedule permit.

Floaters simply contact me when they think they will have time for a lesson, and I will see if that time is available in my schedule.  Floaters pay $47 for each lesson they take and pay at the beginning of that lesson only for that lesson.

Other matters: Holidays and Payment Options

Holidays: I do not teach on Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and December 24 through January 1.

Payment: I accept checks, exact cash, and payment through PayPal and Zelle.  Please make checks payable to Susan Lipnick.  Tuition is not refundable, transferable, or used for subsequent months   If a payment does not go through because of insufficient funds, please pay that amount plus all fees I incurred for in cash until your checking account has sufficient funds.
